Well done to everyone who has already completed their homework.
Special shout out to Kobe-Lee who got 100% on this week's Numeracy homework, there is an extra challenge heading your way!
If you haven't logged on yet, make sure you do before the end of the week!
Welcome back to all the children in 5/6O and their families. We have had a super first week back and done some fantastic learning. Earlier this week we kick started our new Project: Why should the rainforest be important to us all?
Here's a challenge for you to work on at home:
Find out why some animals in the rainforest are endangered. Write your own blog post with the information you find.
I look forward to reading what you find out.
Well done to all of you who have returned your homework from last week already. It has been marked so you can collect it from me tomorrow and there may be some merits for you!
If you haven't handed it in yet, bring it back this week and see how many merits you can get!
Well done to my class who have been working hard to increase the distance they can jump during our PE lessons. Today we tried adding height to our jumps to increase the distance. Have a go at jumping on the playground and use the chalk marks to see how far you have jumped.
Next week we're going to try improving our throwing.
I hope you have all taken home your letters about the School Council's Easter competition and have some great ideas to get started. There are three ways to enter the competition:
- Make an Easter bonnet
- Decorate a real egg
- Decorate the bunny on the back of your letter
There will three prizes for the winning entries in each phase (EYFS, KS1, Y3/4 and Y5/6) so make sure you bring your entry in ready for judging on Wednesday 23rd March.
If you need a new bunny template you can collect one from my classroom.
